DOCTOR OF WORLD RELIGIONS DEGREE PROGRAM

Doctor of World Religions Degree Program Overview
The Global Ministries University Doctor of World Religions Degree Program is offered completely online and can be custom designed to enhance your ministerial goals.  The focus of the Doctor of World Religions Degree Program is on the emerging phenomenon of ecumenical and interfaith pastoral care. Spiritual care professionals today must often work in an inter-religious setting, where an understanding of comparative theological beliefs and faith precepts, i.e., interfaith studies, whether it be Buddhism, Islam, or Shamanism, for example, are essential.

Our Doctor of World Religions degree program is designed to foster research into comparative theological and ethical systems that stem from diverse faith traditions. To provide students with the best possible training in the study of global faiths, Global Ministries University has recruited specialized faculty members from North America, Europe, Africa and Asia who have academic and professional expertise in their respective theological fields.
