Global Ministries University offers two doctoral degree Programs completely online that can be custom designed to meet your academic and ministerial goals: a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min,) degree and a Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) These degrees offer contemporary theology and encourage students to explore a variety of religious traditions a part of their course of study and the relationship of these spiritual tradiations to contemporary global issues such as poverty, racism, sexism, and militarism. The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min,) degree and Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) degree include studies of the world religious traditions, global spirituality, the philosophy of religion, moral thought, social justice issues, and the history of various religious traditions.

Global Ministries University gives you the opportunity to custom design your Doctor of Ministry (D.Min,) and the Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) Degree Programs by allowing you to offer input as to the coures and ministry/doctoral project that will best meet your ministerial goals. Flexible Schedule
Due to the online, distance learning nature of the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min,) and Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) Degree Programs, you will have a completely flexible program. You do not need to wait for registration dates and semesters to begin; you can start your program at any time. Global Ministries University offers self-directed study completely online, so you can study on your schedule in the convenience of your home. Prior learning and life experience credit is not applicable to doctoral degree programs.
Study Process Student and Dean of program develop a learning contract that includes a list of courses needed to earn a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min,) degree or Doctor of World Religions Degree.
GMUClasslassroom.org, an Internet site, is used to obtain each syllabus, submit assignments, and receive graded papers. Student is able to download syllabus of assigned course, which includes assignments and instructor contact information. Additionally, student and instructor may also correspond via email and telephone.
The dean or mentor guides student through the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min,) degree or Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) Degree Program.
