ACCREDITATION Global Ministries University is not accredited as the word is most commonly understood, however, that does not mean it is not a credible university. GMU offers thought-provoking contemporary courses facilitated by competent instructors who are required to hold a master degree and most of them hold a doctoral degree.
In an effort to be upfront with prospects, we would like to make it clear that GMU credits may or may not be:
· considered a requisite for entry into higher-level degree programs at other schools; · acceptable to a potential employer; . transferable into programs of other schools.
If you must have an accredited degree, it is recommended that you refer to the databases of either or both the US Dept. of Education (USDE): http://op.ed.gov/accreditation and/or Council for Higher Education (CHEA): http://chea.org/search.
On the other hand, accreditation is not always necessary and accredited schools are typically more expensive. Global Ministries University has the capacity to provide applicants with quality programs at an affordable cost. Our goal to offer quality degrees to those who would like to prepare for ministry or enhance an existing ministry.
OPERATIONAL STATUS Global Ministries University is licensed and maintains its status as a nonprofit religious corporation through an annual evaluation by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education in the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.
